Game turbo not working MIUI [how to fix]

Every time I launch an application or a game, the “Game Turbo” feature does not appear. Also, even with games added and settings correct, still no action from Game Turbo. Although the game itself runs without any issues, the “Game Turbo” feature does not display. Additionally, the “Video Toolbox” feature is also not functioning. Can someone provide some assistance to resolve Game Turbo not working MIUI issue?

I’ve noticed this issue with MIUI 13.

If you’re having trouble with the “Game Turbo” feature not appearing, I found a solution that worked for me:

1. Open the built-in “Security” app with the green icon featuring a bolt in the center.
2. Go to the “Privacy” tab.
3. Under Privacy Protection, search for “Special permissions.”
4. Look for “Display over other apps.”
5. Find “Security” and make sure that “Allow display over other apps” is enabled. (This option was disabled for me, but I’m not sure why.)
6. Close the app and reopen it.

Note: I wasn’t able to add this permission through the “App permissions” in the “Security” app information.
